I could eat it whenever of the day, and it’s genuinely basic to approach the Merkley home on a night and discover us eating French Toast or Pancakes. Breakfast plans are only that incredible! I feel like we don’t get the chance to eat them frequently enough in the mornings since we’re ordinarily in a surge, however we once in a while get the opportunity to appreciate them on the ends of the week and occasions. One occasion we generally eat is on Mother’s Day. Also, for the most part I’m not the one that needs to prepare it!! ?

This is day I appreciate. The hubby and kiddos go hard and fast to serve their mom, and I concede – I LOVE it! It’s pleasant to be taken into account each once in for a little while, and Mother’s Day is an occasion I’ve come to anticipate. ?

One of my preferred plans to appreciate on this day is French Toast, and all the more especially French Toast Bake. It is easy to make and is past delectable!! Ingredients

1/2 cup melted butter (1 stick)

1 cup brown sugar

1 loaf Texas toast

4 eggs

1 1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

Powdered sugar for sprinkling

Directions

Melt butter in microwave & add brown sugar….stir till mixed.

Pour butter/sugar mix into bottom of 9 x 13 pan….spread around

Beat eggs, milk, & vanilla

Lay single layer of Texas Toast in pan

Spoon 1/2 of egg mixture on bread layer

Add 2nd layer of Texas Toast

Spoon on remaining egg mixture

Cover & chill in fridge overnight

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes (covered for the first 30 minutes)

Sprinkle with powdered sugar

Serve with warm maple syrup

Side Note: I have NOT tried this with my gluten free bread. I’m sure it would work, but just have not tried it.
